TERMS & CONDITIONS

RATES
All rates quoted on this site are subject to availability. All rates are inclusive of GST and quoted in Australian dollars. By using the rates quoted on this site you agree with and abide by these Terms and Conditions. Rates as quoted are per room per night on a room only basis, unless specified. Rates may increase without notice due to any changes in the imposition of government charges taxes or levies. Guests will be notified where possible of any increases.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in time is 2.00pm and check out is 10.00am. We will try wherever possible to accommodate early arrival and/or late departure.

DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT

  • Full payment is required 30 days prior to arrival. Any booking made within 30 days of arrival full payment is required at time of confirmation.

  • Payment by Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard) or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). 

  • If paying by EFT please arrange for funds to be in our account 30 days prior to the day of arrival.

  • A 50% Non-refundable deposit is required for stays during peak periods including Music Festivals, Easter, Christmas and the New Years Period [23rd Dec – 8th Jan]. 

  • Deposit and payment terms may vary with group bookings and during peak holiday periods.

LUGGAGE STORAGE
We can arrange storage of luggage for guests. All luggage must be clearly labelled

CAR PARKING
One off-street parking space is availible per room.

INTERNET CONNECTIONS
Satara provides free wifi internet. The operation of any internet connection during this reservation is not guaranteed and may be disrupted or not available. 

BEHAVIOUR AND NOISE POLICY
Satara Byron Bay has a NO party policy
Unreasonable noise will not be tolerated after 10.00pm. 
A charge of $200 will apply if management deem it necessary to ask guests to cease unreasonable noise after 10.00pm. 
We reserve the right to request people who are making too much noise at any time of the day or night to leave. No refunds will be applicable. A security company or police may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour. Any charges incurred by the security company or police will be charged to the guest.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Management also reserves the right to charge guests for the following, but not restricted to, all damages and breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. 

LOST KEY POLICY
A $20 charge will apply if keys are lost.

SMOKING

Satara Byron Bay is a Non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the grounds or in buildings.

  • Any traces of residual smoke inside will incur an additional cleaning charge of $200. Any additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added as deemed necessary by management.

PETS
No pets permitted unless by prior arrangement. At certain times of the year we may accept pets.

SCHOOLIES POLICY
Satara Byron Bay does not accept schoolies reservations. Minimum check-in age is 21yrs unless accompanied by an adult

CANCELLATION POLICY
If a booking is cancelled or modified within 30 days of arrival the full tariff will be charged.
Where a deposit has been paid the deposit is non-refundable.

Our Standard Cancellation Policy (above) applies to all bookings other than special event dates which are mentioned below.

STANDARD POLICY: Bookings can be cancelled or amended 30 or more days prior to arrival without penalty. If booking is cancelled or amended within 30 days of arrival a fee of 100% of total accommodation cost will apply. 
Full charge applies to no shows.

SPECIAL EVENT POLICY: Applies to all bookings with stay dates during the following: 

  • Easter / Bluesfest 

  • Splendour in the Grass Music Festival 

  • Christmas / New Year Eve - (23 Dec - 8 Jan)

EARLY DEPARTURE
No refunds will be given on early departure.

MAINTENANCE & RENOVATIONS DISCLAIMER
Satara Byron Bay is a new property and whilst renovations to the grounds are ongoing, no works will take place whilst guests are in-house. We are committed to ensure that any renovation works will not effect your enjoyment whilst staying at Satara. By way of compensation, during these periods we offer reduced rates. All bookings during these periods are placed in agreement of our maintenance & renovations disclaimer. 

TRADING TERMS
Satara Byron Bay reserves the right to release any or all room space if payment terms are not met.

FORCE MAJEURE
Satara Byron Bay will not be in breach of this agreement, or any way liable to any party, if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by reason of act of God, act of public enemy, act of terrorism, war, earthquake, riot, explosion, compliance with any law or government restraint order, rule regulations, strike, lockout or any other cause not reasonably within the control of Satara Byron Bay.

PRIVACY POLICY
Satara Byron Bay is subject to the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. We will generally collect personal information about you directly from you when you deal with us over the telephone or e-mail which will include your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.
We may use your personal information for some or all of the following purposes:

  • To provide marketing information to you about our products and services

  • To monitor the standard and quality of service we provide to your or other guests.

If you do not wish to receive these communications from us, you may unsubscribe. If you choose to send email messages to us that contain confidential, private or personal information, you do so entirely at your own risk.

GOVERNING LAW
The Law of New South Wales governs your use and occupation of the property during this reservation. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales.

COPYRIGHT
The information, text, graphics, images, sounds, links and all other information and software published or otherwise contained on this site (“the contents”) are the exclusive property of Satara Byron Bay and, except as authorised on this site, may not be copied, distributed, displayed, reproduced or transmitted, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without the prior written permission of Satara Byron Bay.

DISCLAIMER
